Rohit: Yes. How is your life in lockdown?

Mohit: Very tough. I’m also thinking about what can I do at this time?

This is to notify that the ‘Students’ Club’ of our school is going to organize an Online Debate Competition on 25th October, 2021. Only the students of classes IX and X can participate in the debate competition. The motion of the debate is- “Online classes harm the real learning temper of the students”. Two groups of students will be made, one for the motion, and the other against it. ‘Each speaker can speak online for four minutes either for the motion or against it. To attend the debate participants need not gather anywhere. Using their smartphones they can participate in the competition online from their homes. Interested students from these classes are hereby asked to submit their names through e-mail or WhatsApp within 23rd October, 2021 to the undersigned. Co-operation from all concerned is highly solicited.

गगनेन्द्रनाथ टैगोर को भारत में चित्रकला के क्षेत्र में ब्रश के प्रयोग का अग्रदूत माना जाता है। उन्होंने अपने चित्रकला में भारतीय तकनीक का अनुसरण नहीं किया। उनके चित्रों का संग्रह उनके तीन पुस्तकों जैसे- बाजरा (Bajra I 1917 ई०), अद्भुत लोक (Adbhut Loke-1917 ई०), नव हुलोडे (Nava Hullode-1921 ई.) में किया गया है। उस समय के नाटककार ज्योतिंन्द्रनाथ टैगोर के नाटक एमन कर्म आर करबो ना' (Eman Karma Ar Karbo Na) में गगनेन्द्रनाथ टैगोर के हास्यापद चित्रों का समावेश मिलता है उनके नाटक के प्रमुख पात्र अलिक बाबू (Alik Babu) और द फाल्स बाबू (The False Baboo) इत्यादि गगनेन्द्र नाथ टैगोर के लिए हाथों की उपज है।गगनेन्द्र नाथ टैगोर का मानना था कि व्यंग्यात्मक चित्रों के माध्यम से ही पथ भ्रष्ट एवं ऐसे लोगों को सही राह पर लाया जा सकता है जो अपनी सभ्यता एवं संस्कृति को भूलकर पाश्चात्य सभ्यता एवं संस्कृति को अपनाने की होर में लगे हैं।
